Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Inked, the operator of inked.top. They apply to the website, sample memos, sign-in, and any programmatic interface we publish.

If you use Inked on behalf of a fund or company, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. Privacy is described separately in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

Inked generates a written 360° company memo from public signals: a URL, product text, or a PDF you upload. Sections may include a decision brief, capital, positioning, growth archaeology, channels, strengths and risks, founder questions, comparables, and evidence.

We may change, throttle, or withdraw features. Sample memos (including Cursor, Linear, Stripe, and Notion) are written examples for demonstration. They are not a live feed of those companies’ private systems and may become stale.

The first two full memos are intended to be free. We may introduce paid plans, rate limits, or credit packs. We will say so on the site before we charge you.

If you request a magic link, you must use an email you control. You are responsible for activity under that address. Notify us if you believe the inbox was compromised. We may refuse, suspend, or close an account that we reasonably believe is abusive or unlawful.

You may use Inked for lawful professional research. You may not:

• Attempt to access non-public systems, credentials, or personal data of third parties through the product.
• Upload malware, or materials you have no right to share.
• Scrape, overload, or circumvent rate limits in a way that harms other users.
• Resell raw memo output as a competing hosted product without a written license.
• Represent an Inked memo as a rating, a recommendation to buy or sell, or as licensed financial advice.
• Use the service to harass, dox, or discriminate against individuals.

Inked is research infrastructure, not a broker-dealer, rating agency, or investment adviser. Memos are public-signal analysis that can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. You remain solely responsible for capital allocation, compliance, and any decision you take.

You retain rights in URLs, text, and PDFs you submit. You grant Inked a worldwide, non-exclusive license to process those inputs solely to generate, store, and display your memo and to secure the service. Do not submit information you are not allowed to share.

The Inked name, logo (360° ring and ink nib), site design, and software are ours or our licensors’. Sample memo copy on this site is provided for evaluation. You may quote short excerpts with attribution to Inked and a link to the page. You may not copy the product UI as your own service.

If we publish an HTTP or MCP interface, these Terms apply to it. We may require a key, rate limit calls, and revoke access that threatens stability or acceptable use. Agents and crawlers may read public pages listed in llms.txt. Do not present generated memos as human-authored diligence without disclosing the tool.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that a memo is complete, current, or free of model error.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inked is not liable for lost profits, lost capital, lost data, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of a memo or the site. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of fees you paid us in that period or USD 100.

You will indemnify Inked against claims arising from your inputs, your misuse, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Shanghai have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any forum to protect the brand or the service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

You may stop using Inked at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk to the service, or legal requirement. We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.
